Go Rakshan , Go Niketan for Indian breed of cows
There are 100+ Goshalas in Maharashtra. But still most of theaged or ailing cows are abandoned or sold. The project not only envisages to stop this cruelty towards animals but also will try to enhance Indian breed of cows. To start with, 4 acre of suitable land on ownership basis and 20 acres of land on lease basis is earmarked in Pune district, Maharashtra exclusively for establishing a SaiGoshala. Support is sought from people and companies for setting up the Gaushala and also for maintaining it further. Initial phase can be completed in 3 years. Project will be managed by SSSCT with Go rakshaks.
